The piece begins with We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The Dreidel Song, a popular Chanukah song follows, with the melody shared between the cellos and woodwinds. To bring everyone together, the perennial favorite New Year's song, Auld Lang Syne brings the piece to a rousing conclusion.
