| Description: The second movement of “Anasazi”, The Night of the Yellow Moon is a harvest dance showing reverence of the tribe for its existence upon the sacred land of Mother Nature. The harvest’s bountiful return illustrates the bond between man and God. This movement is much different from the others as it is quite and subdued with a lyrical content. “Anasazi” is a representation of the early Native Americans of the Southwest, and a token of respect for a land and a people who are remembered with great admiration for their culture, ambitions, and achievements. |
