| Description: Raucous and somewhat perilous, the third movement of Anasazi ‘The Masque of the Kikmongwi’ is meant to convey the deep feelings of all who worship the abundance of life and is representative of the spiritual revitalization of man in the image of the eternal. Careful attention to phrasing of the twelve-tone melodies is required as it uses a five-four metrical scheme in a bolero form. “Anasazi” is a representation of the early Native Americans of the Southwest, and a token of respect for a land and a people who are remembered with great admiration for their culture, ambitions, and achievements. |
