| Description: This remarkable Baroque style work is appropriate for a beginning orchestra as well as all levels beyond that, including high school orchestra. Beginning groups are encouraged to master the notes and rhythms, while Intermediate and Advanced groups are encouraged to concentrate on producing an authentic Baroque sound through challenging dynamics, articulation, and various bowing styles. Although both movements are written in first position, the more advanced groups are encouraged to play certain passages in higher positions, facilitating vibrato and produce a richer sound. Either movement can stand alone. |
