Joining the Luck’s Music staff in 2008, David Johnson processes many of the domestic orders placed online and is the sole male voice answering customer calls. Music has been an ever-present force in David’s life.  Beginning with piano lessons taught by his mother, he switched to guitar at the age of seven and studied classical guitar as a teen.  However, like many youths of the day, David was forever corrupted by rock and roll.  A longtime veteran of the Detroit music scene, he currently plays acoustic guitar with The Blueflowers, and electric guitar in a Siouxsie and the Banshees tribute act.  Managing to keep in touch with his classical roots, his first “real job” was working as an usher for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and he also worked in the ticket office at Michigan Opera Theater.  While attending college, David was a member of the bass section of Wayne State University’s highly lauded Concert Chorale.   In an effort to explore his vast yet antiquated CD collection, he hosts a Monday night free-form radio in his spare time.
